If 17 x 8 wheels will clear and thats a big if , Specialty Wheels has an 17 inch band they use to make their 17 x 8 Magnum wheels. This is a drop center band. This band will accept a standard 15 inch old style steel wheel center , that will take a 9" dogdish cap. May have to use a spacer... Just a possible idea.
