I am asking this because nhra techs gave me a laundry list of stuff when I had my dart.one of the things was the fuel line.It had to run on the outside of the rail so if a ujoint or a clutch explosion it wouldn,t damage the fuel line.

There is an exception in the rule book (check it out), enclose the fuel line in a 1/8" wall thickness steel pipe if you run it on the inside of the frame rail. This is how my car was changed to when the fenderwell headers were put hunging the outside of the frame rails.
