When I could not find the size drag radial I wanted (30 x 9) I got disgusted and just bought radial slicks that are Hoosier's 30 x 9's. I like that size because I wanted atleast a 30" tall tire and I can fit wider in my stock wheelwell but the 9's never rub not even on hard turns. I decided to drive to the track on the radial slicks and then raced on them and drove home. I was surprised how good they handle on the street and since I have a radial tire up front the car handles great with the radial slicks driving normal so I left them on the car and have driven over 2 years on them. I got caught in the rain twice and I had no problems driving real easy and I do have a detroit locker. I have only raced once this year and they hooked great as of course I drove to the track and it hooked good enough to run 10.76 three passes in a row. I dont wory about if it hooks on the street as I dont street race. I plan to go back to a drag radial if they ever make the size I want. Ron
