NASCAR runs more than 800 hp with mechanical pumps.

For that matter top fuel and funny car run mechanical pumps

For that matter the Space shuttles three main engines are capable of producing 37 Million HP with a mechanical pump.

The pump alone produces 71,000 HP Is this the Limit I bet not!

Tywebb, Even though the Carter 120 GPH race pump "should" be more then enough for your combo. Its not as easy as that, Technically a 50 GPH pump should work.

But , without any ramblings the Carter 120 GPH race pump that I used failed to deliver enough with my fuel line ETC on my 509 750 carb combo. It should of been more then enough for me too.

I got a bad pump I guess. You could be having a fuel issue. But I recommend putting a guage on it to be sure.

Im not sure I wouldnt rule out a Vert problem with your ATI. It lost 2 MPH over your 10" turbo action, with the same said pump and similer ET , I believe from your prior thread.

Didnt you post the slippage difference too, I forget.

I do love the 9.5" Dynamic, but I would think that 8" ATI you have would kick its but, if it wasnt slipping so much. mike
