im pretty positive thats the car we drug out of a yard in georgia almost 25 years ago and i re did it with a 440/727 combo and painted it bright lime green metallic (ford color ) with silver stripes

I don't remember what color it was, but I know the color that it is now, is not the original color, When Gary bought it, it was one of the standard "70s colors" probably was a green color car...article said he raced it that way a few years before painting it.

I was new to Moparts in the fall of '03. I was going to meet Gary at Carlisle that summer (summer of '04). There was a post...a challenge if you will, about who could eat the most white castles. I really wanted my chance to take him down!

he is missed around here for sure, never forgotten.
