I forgot but yes it is an 8-3/4 rear in the car now. I only race a few times a year but I figure I will use this setup to see how the 4.30 gear works and then soon I will go with a Dana. Hopefully the 8-3/4 will hold up for a few track pssses. Ron

Ron if i was you i would start building a dana 60 now. my 8-3/4 with my dewayne porter indy EZ head 440 on pump gas only lasted 4.5 passes.i was only running 4.10 gears and some m/t 275-60-15 et street radiles. i know youe engine is going to make lots more torque than mine. i look forward to your new engine build and i love your car. i am wanting to get back into a early b-body bad.thanks bobby
