Put about 500 miles on the car and the rear main was leaving a small puddle under the car; so we pulled the motor and put a nice warmed over 440 in it. I pulled the pan on the 512 and found that the Mancini double sided seal retainer was contacting the #5 main cap; thus preventing the cap from seating. So I installed the original seal retainer and put the 512 to sleep awaiting another home for it. Just got the car back from the body shop today and the dents were fixed and painted along with a new vinyl top. I sold the car to a friend of mine and he is turning it into a white hat special.
