My '63 330, while not a Max Wedge car, was a stripper /6 with virtually no options. Rubber floor mat, manual steering, manual brakes, bench seat etc.

The only undercoat it has is in the wheelwells. It doesn't even have any behind the rear wheels (trunk floor extensions) or any traces on the floorpans.

On page 30 of the book "Maximum Performance" it shows an undercarriage pic of a Max Wedge car and despite it being in black and white you can make out the rough texture of undercoat in the front wheelwells.

It does go on to say on page 47 that in 1964 the lightweight package "deleted all sound deadener, undercoating, silencer pads and insulation."
