I have a recently rebuilt 904 behind my stock 318.

I went to a lokar kickdown as my linkage was fried. Now I just can't get it to shift right.

My 1-2 is nice and smooth then it holds second forever, if I back off the gas then it bangs into third.

Is my cable too short or too long?

What are good shift points for 1-2 and 2-3 under moderate to hard acceleration on a cruiser?
