Would it be possible for you to use an oe type stud w the shoulder as they seal real well and you can trim the outer fine threaded section till there's only enough threads left for the nut to fit flush which will help you w fitment w the header flange and if you have a choice of gaskets that are slightly thinner that will also let you trim more threads off to further help the situation
