It'd be cool to get a prototype set of LS1 pistons (same basic slug) made in a Mopar siamese eyebrow arrangement. (The typical LS1 is a non siamese IEIEIEIE arrangement like a ford). But a 'unibrow' might work off the shelf so long as the cam's not a really high lift.

The 1.335 ch 'works' (on paper pretty close) with a 6.25 rod and a 4" stroke, or a 6.2" with a 4.125" stroke....or a 6.125" rod and a 4.25" stoke, Mr P I agree with your square decking often being 9.585 but many/most virign blocks I've seen are at or slightly over 'blueprint' 9.600. Close enough to consider (or make up with) a thicker MLS type Head gasket if the deck was a hair short.

The other 'cool coincidence' is how close the LS1 bore is to the 318 and the Ls2 is to the 360...
