My story. I ran a BG 280 fuel pump with the step down box. It was necessary on the street, mainly due to the fact the pump was running at full capacity, full amps full on full time.

One difference though, no return line. I did not run one, as on this model it was not required.

For a street car, if I had to do it all over again...

The Aeromotive SS is a nice setup, no 'extra' box to run.

And, run a return line back to the fuel tank. That I think makes a bigger difference in the long run.

My car is a Dart Sport and I have stock tank with two -10 bungs out of bottom into the fuel filter, then into pump -8 out of pump into fuel reg. up front, then two -6.

In the floor of the trunk, is where the fuel pump is mount on a box style of a bracket that holds the pump to protect it from underneath, so it is seen from the back end.

Overkill? Yes. I was too lazy to bend up regular fuel line, it's the fittings that cost the $$$.

So, in short, fuel pump with return line, then -8 upto the front then -6 to carb.
