I have a clutch-style SG carrier that needs the bearings removed. Looking at the FSM, they picture a special tool needed to remove them, but there's no way I'm going that route - anyone have a simple way to get them off? I have already pulled off the cages and rollers on the one with a gear puller, but the inner race is still locked prety solid on the carrier. I was thinking about a little heat from a propane torch and some P-oil, but I don't want to ruin anything either. There is very little for any puller to get a hold of, as they were pressed all the way down to the base of the carrier flange. I was going to get a dull chisel and alternate blows all around after heating until it moved enough for my puller to get a hold of the lip. Any ideas?
