I have bought after market tires for my car that need to have three inch studs.

The studs that I was told to get, are bigger then the factory studs in there circumference, where the studs are pulled in to the axles.

I was told that I needed to drill out the axle holes, to accomadate the slightly bigger three inch studs, size.

Can anyone tell me the size bit I need to buy to drill out the holes for me to be able to use the new three inch studs?

Just in case you need to know, my car is a 318 plymouth fury.

A person at the parts store told me that he had taken out his axles, and had them pressed in,
after drilling, I am not able to take my axles out and I do not have a press, will I too need to do this to get the studs to seat?

Thanks for your help. I do appreciate it.
