Lot's of Open Wheel drivers, with numerous wins have failed miserably in NASCAR. Sure Tony Stewart is a successful Open Wheel driver in NASCAR, but he grew up racing on the dirt. I say Danica is too old to simply hop in a 3400 lb car and be a force in a 43 car field.
And Michael Schumacher comes to mind. 
Schumacher has never raced in NASCAR...But Nigel Mansell and Villeneuve did. They failed.
Montoya has done OK...
Danica will bring a few fans to the ARCA series, then a few more to the Nationwide series, she'll probably quailify because she'll be in good equipment, she'll get lapped, crash out, get frustrated....And go away.
She's not that good a driver.
