The open, round female connector laying on the pass side of the intake (18ga dkblue) is in fact the dbl wire coming off the double wire field terminal of the alternator. So I guess I'll go with that. Is there someone that sells the wire that connects that part to the solenoid? Thanks.




If you have a blue wire from the alternator,it is not a 69 1/2 harness.69 is two wire alternator,black battery,green field.Also 69 1/2 solenoid wire (blue) is seperate wire from piggy back terminal on ballast resistor to the solenoid.I'd be curious as to why your blue wire has a round terminal.As for the two blue for the 70 alternator wiring,one goes to the ballast resistor,the other to tne regulator.Other than the coil,most all wires are push on spade connectors including the solenoid.
