Do you need a special front bumper to install these? Can you use a regular bumper and paint it?

Thanks

if your doing the rear bumber painted as well, yes they were rubber coated, but the membrane was so thin,

i have that part figured out already
i'm just tossing ideas in my head around for the applique
it would probably just be easier to bite the bullet with gene...

Since it doesn't have to be structural, does someone make a fiberglass copy of it?

nobody i know of makes it
besides gene and he wants 1500 clams for one...

i'm suprised nobody offers a cheap fiberglass one myself
once you bolted it on you would never know the differance anyway..

The one Gene makes is very nice, although spendy, but a lot of the cost is in the ureathane, it's one heavy thick peice!....the studs are welded in a strip submerged in the ureathane, so you don't have to worry about them turning on you as you tighten them,.....in regards to a fiberglass unit, there was one available years back,...I'll see if I can locate the manufacturer, plus there was a member on Moparts, YEARS back that was going to make a mold of one, to do a fiberglass lay up,....I don't know it that ever happened?,...all I remember was he had a red/orange 71 RR,...forgot his name/handle
