Is there any of the stud protruding from the hole? Even if its just a little bit?
It would be easy to take a 5/16 nut and mig the stud to the nut.Heat the area up around the stud and it will fall out.
If nothing else its possible to blow the stud out with a torch set without hurting or burning the head.
