We had a chassis shop relocate the factory steering box rearward a bit and he re-fabbed the drag-link and whatnot to make it work, but it does not have a rack and pinion. It has the factory steering box and it all cleared fine,although, it may possibly be cheaper to put a rack and pinion in.
These are neat engines and we make adapters where I work as well. We have even sold one to a Moparts member !

You must have had to chop the K frame though, when I set my R5 in there was no way it was gonna sit down far enough without removing the some of the K frame or moving the engine way back...





this was gonna be my next question..will it fit with a modified k member..?
i figured there would be more room being a dry sump?
