8.3's in a 1900 pound dragster. Filled block cracked after about 50 runs. It was a 493 with EZ-1 heads at 14.6:1 compression (big ross Domes). Split right up the #3 cylinder...about 1/2 way up when I caught it. I now have a Mopar Mega Block and it runs 8.5.....damn heavy blocks.
