I have a strong 440 - 6 pack with a hemi stall converter and the trans is rebuilt and has a shift kit in it. My question is that it doesn't have a hard neck jerking shift and if I want it to shift at say 6000 rpm's I have to move the shifter at about 4500 rpm's or it goes higher in the rpm's. What is the problem? I don't understand the high rpm difference.

Thanks
