Thanks, I don't know what to expect for miledge with it with the new 414 stroker, I am hopeing for mid 20s in ideal conditions. The big thing about if I put the OD in it is it will actually be displaceing less air at cruise then the 318 so mabey high 20s with the OD.

The formula I use is .69 (OD Ratio) X 414 = 286 inches per driveshaft revalution. The old motor was 323 inches per dirveshaft revalution. Friction should be lower and less air will be pumped so it should do less work inside it self. On the down side I will have more overlap witch I think is a big no-no in a mpg build.
