The only thing I don't like is the noisy Rhoads lifters, but they do help the cam out, 15-17" vaccum at idle ( I added a vaccum canistor where the battery used to be).
You don't like the Rhoads Lifters, take them out & suddenly you'll know where the "no low end power" comments are coming from...  15-17hg of vacuum.. of course it runs normal.. Try it with normal lifters where you start with 6hg after tuning you get 9-11hg...
