My buddy had his Duster out to LaPeer today. He lost a lobe off of the old school .508 smallblock MP cam and changed to the smallblock version of the Comp cam listed above. It's a .030 over 340 with trw 10.5:1 pistons, 308 casting heads with 2.02 valves and a bowl hog, no porting. TorquerII intake, tricked out 750hp, 3500 stall. Car went a best of 11.99 @113 mph with the old cam. Did what we could with jetting and timing, but the best it went was 12.06 @109.

I still believe that cam gets a bad wrap from people who misunderstood the designers intentions. I've used it numerous times in big and small blocks, and when run with the right intake, converter and gear combos it's still hard to beat.
