I have a sending unit and all, but I did not have to clear and mate up to all the stock stuff. Although mine did present some other technical issues, it was realitively easy to install.

Here's a pic of the one he just built for my D100 he will be bringing by this week. Looks bigger than it actually is, but has an A1000 pump along with an autometer sending unit.
