i use a 35.00 rebuilt dis from oreillys,vac-adv removed hooked to a 6al,you just unhook the condenser,throw it out and run the wire from the points to the 6al,the points no longer have fire they are only a trigger devise,it works great,its the first diagram in the 6al manual,now you have a 1 wire dissy,the guy in texas at msd,says its a great way to runem,my
