Just thought I'd try to get some answers incase you guys have experience with these products. if no one knows, I'll just wait till after the weekend and call their tech line (website says open till 6 eastern, and at 5, I got a message said "Our offices are closed" --lousy 3 day labor day weekend!)

I've got a hood that I'm going to re-paint on my Dakota, basically doing some touch up work, this is my first "real" paint work using real paints with hardeners, a real paint gun, etc. so I'm using this hood to learn and get some practice with.

My dad said he had some Napa products that I could use and save some money, he has clear coat #15401 and Hardener #15448, left over from some work he did on my sisters car.

So, I went to Napa and said "I have clear 15401 and hardener 15448, I need a base coat compatible with these products in a Dodge paint code PR4"

they gave me a can of 56-46916-B and NO other paperwork.

I assume that I have a can of base coat "cross fire platinum B/C 5.0" as the martin senour website says that's what that code is. but, under that system, it does NOT say that I can use clear coat #15401 with it, nor does it specify exactly which reducer to use.

so, Long story short...is my base coat compatible with my clear coat, and which reducer should I get (assuming temps of 70-90) or did the Napa guys sell me the wrong crap, and now I gotta go get different clear and hardener than what my dad has?
