The headers on the 383 in the car right now are older headmans, and the tube bend shape looks just like Rons picture on the driver side. The pictures shown of the Summit headers also look to be this exact same bend sequence, which does stay above the steering, and fits very nicely.

The reason I'm ditching the ones on the car currently is that the flanges, which are 3 seperate pieces, are warped at the center ports. They're doing okay right now with Remflex gaskets, but they have been a problem in the past, and its time to jettison them.
