Hey all,
I am ready to upgrade my 1970 Challenger to aluminum heads.
With all of the after-market heads out there now I’m running in circles with what to go with.
So I am looking toward the Mopowed knowledge of you all on the Moparts web board for the correct parts the first time.

I also want to run a roller camshaft and roller valve train. So I am also asking for input on what to run there also.

The current set-up is as follows –

Motor –
- 1969 HP 440 block w/stock steel crank
- 452 heads (gasket matched) with stock valve train
- M1 intake
- Hooker Headers (3 ½ collectors)
- Main stud girdle & windage tray
- Demon 880 carburetor
- Holley Volu-Max fuel pump

Car –
- 1970 Challenger
- Dana 60 w/4:10 gear
- Mini tubbed
- Stock suspension with 90/10 front - slightly too long in the rear
- 29x12.5x15 Hoosier quick time pros – 3.5’s up front
- Box tube sub frame connectors
- 6 cylinder torsion bars

The car was on a RW Dyno and made 398hp and 486lbs with a 750 Holley
The best pass on the street tires and full exhaust was 11.89 @ 120 with a 1.61 short time.

I believe that covers everything, any and all help and opinion would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, and remember . . . Do it in a MOPAR!!!
