Don't know if the cam bolt came loose, or maybe the crank key let go.....I can't get the balancer off....Man it's tight!
Anyways....a pile of bent valves on the left bank so far with #1 intake the worst along with a well bent pushrod.
I'll get the right head off tonite...I suspect by the loose rockers that there'll be a few bent valves on that side too.
One good thing anyways.....at least I had gotten thru the burnout and had throttled back when it died. I can't imagine the consequesences on a 6500 rpm shift!!!
I'm gonna take some heat to the balancer and try to move it. It's a fluid one, so I'll possibly be looking for another one knowing my luck.
