i have used chapstick and plain old wheel bearing grease on gaskets before, and they have been easy to remove. throwing this out there as per my personal experience. your mileage will vary.  I used some grease on a B van water pump gasket at work once and boy was I sorry I did that as it leaked. Nothing like doing a water pump on a B van for free.
