Obviously if it’s never had plugs that’s the time to do it, but it would have also been logical to swap a coil pack with another cylinder to see if the miss moves (of course inspecting the lower boot section for blow through arcing). After that step next is to ohm out and swap injector with another cylinder. If your miss stays at #2 and you know you have spark, and the injector has pulse (noid light) then it’s time to get mechanical. Of course you might get there and hear “TICK TICK TICK” and know what you’re in for.

….and yes, you need an oil psi switch.
