Believe it or not, I've used a high-volume bicycle tire pump in the past when necessary, (about 10 pumps per 1 psi in a car tire), but am now looking at options like a portable air tank or tire inflators that can plug into the car's 12v lighter socket.

I bring a small air tank & a cig lighter power small pump JUST in case I run out of air in my tank.
