Round tracks used to use a P & G machine to "pump up" a engine. (it used air to measure the volume) If you know any round track guys local, you may ask them. Not sure if they're used any longer, with so many tracks using "crate" engines (which are sealed). Most just make you pull a cyl head if any question.
But like others have said, it's just a number. What matters is how it runs.
