I have a 472 hemi about 550 hp and 550 tq in a 69 Charger. I just picked up a good used 1970 b body 18 spline transmission with a McLeod RST clutch. What do you guys recommend for a flywheel and bellhousing? I'd prefer a scattershield for this HP level. What fits better a Lakewood or Quicktime (centering, and clutch fork fitment)? It looks like the Quicktime is more compact and lighter. I have 2-1/8" primary tube TTI headers. TTI said the flange on the Lakewood needs to be ground down a bit. Does the Quicktime need to be modified too? Should I go with a 130 or 143 tooth flywheel? Billet steel or aluminum. This will be a street driven car, no slicks with 3.91 gears. Do I need to partially pull the motor to install the scattershield. Or can I pull the existing 727 transmission and install everything from the bottom?
