I agree 100%.

And once the nhra got "cookie cutter" in Pro Stock and all the different cars and combos went away...that let to the huge rise in the popularity of the IHRA Mountain Motor "run what you brung" style of Pro Stock....And the NHRA got skeered because many of the Top P/S drivers like Glidden, and WJ jumped over to IHRA.....and even Ronnie Sox jumped back in and ran the old Dean Thompson 814" Mustang (that was painted similar to the old Mopar Missle).

That was arguably even MORE exciting than 70's NHRA racing. It was a great time to live in the south in my early 20's if you were a Pro Stock Fan,
