Interestingly I just watched footage of the very early 80's and it was the world finals first round. 16 cars and 12 were (second gen) Camaros, one Ford (Glidden's Farimont), 2 Hemi Arrows and Roy Hill's Omni, So the "Pro Camaro" trend of the past 6-7 years really wasn't very much different 40 years ago.

At least the 70's had a lot more brand diversity, which to me made it much more fun and interesting.
