This is one of those cases where the town or city doesn't do their job, they had their boundary set, it's agricultural land, there's something that's been there for 50+ years that they know will be an issue. They shouldn't be approving the housing. Yet all they see is the $$$$$$$ from taxes.

The same thing is happening around here. They are putting up condo buildings right left and center in areas that already have traffic issues. They are approving people splitting singe house properties to sell them as two houses even tho there are several variances needed to allow it to happen. One of the committe members is even vocal about it every time yet it never changes. They recently approved rezoning an industrial area for large condo towers then turned around and want the factories and businesses that are adjacent to it to spend millions of dollars to put up sound buffers and only work at certain times to not affect the dwellings next door that shouldn't be built there to begin with.
