What is your red line?

6,000 Checked it this morning.

There were exactly zero stock 318 and 360 magnum engines that would do 6000RPM before fuel cutoff in neutral or in gear, most were at or just under 5000. My 2001 dodge ram van with a 360 magnum hits fuel cut off around 4800. I can also tell you that from putting a carb on it they are limited before 6000 RPM by valve float, they have very heavy lifters and very weak valve springs.
