I have a 727 I'm putting behind a 400/470 stroker motor and have a couple questions. I'd like to know what would be a good choice of stall speed would be for the torque converter. The car will be a street driven only car and will have 3.73 gears in the rear. I would prefer to go with whatever the lowest stall speed would work. I'd also like to know if a deep aluminum trans. pan is something I should consider. I'd prefer to use the stock pan but will invest in a deep aluminum pan if necessary. Thanks.
