With stockish heads, what you will gain is TORQUE. And lots of it. Not so much gain in acceleration. And just move the peaks down lower. If this isn't a good effort at a stock appearing type of deal, then I'd have no issue keeping the stock stroke. The stock heads and intake are strangling 440 cubes to begin with.
