Cattails can be planted in sewage fields and will clean the environment around them and actually grow 3 times the normal size. Sugar beets are another better selection than corn. Sounds like the study was paid for by the oil industry. I've experienced the difference between the exhaust of gasoline cars vs. ethanol cars; unbelievable difference in cleanliness. Walking down busy streets in Sao Paolo, you can still breathe the air, no smog, no choking on fumes. There are many benefits of ethanol vs. gasoline.


The study didn't choose what crop to use, it studied what was being used and it's effects.
