A good home charging station is 240 volt, 50 amps. Basically the same plug that you have in the house for a dryer or an oven so not a complicated deal. Just depends where the electrical panel is and how many open circuits there are. In a condo building my guess is that the contractor cut the design right to the bone in order to maximize his paycheck. It would get expensive if they had to pull in another service just for the charging stations.


The meaning of my Q was ... is to ball park the cost of operations on each charging station for an apartment complex and to blend that into the monthly lease or COA fees.....

HOW you could possibly AT A REASONABLE COST... hook each station into the individual apartment unit would be a HORROR SHOW
