Had one on a 4 family we purchased(paid for by seller) They covered a furnace, fridge and 2 stoves in the 1st year.......took some "convincing" at times but they did it. Haven't renewed it since it expired. Not sure on cost but 1k/year would almost cover the stoves and fridge(rental units get nothing fancy) so we've been flying without it for 6+ years.....easily cover expenses without a warranty.
