Thanks Andy. My pan is very good. But i do run a lot of oil to the heads, so i suppose there might be a little power from a dry sump, but your comments make me think not a lot. The shortblock is .043 .043 3/16 low tension oil rings, gas ported and coated piston skirts. The rest is standard stuff, no other coatings.
As far as converter is, i don't think i need much change. My guess is the stall will be close since the motor fell back to 6200 on the shifts with the 528. I will probably cross the line at 7500 with the 4.56 gears i have. I have a set of 4.30s on the shelf in case i need them. My WAG on how fast it will go is maybe 8.65 on a very good DA of 1600 or so. Time will tell.
