Your thinking is normal before you measure them, .003 to even as much as .010 is hard to see and feel. To get actual results between them you need to measure them with depth mike, maybe even a set of dial calipers if your real careful using them or a dial indicator on the edges.

If this was a issue wouldn't I have had a problem with my old closed chamber stage VI heads? They actually had a smaller combustion chamber then the Trick Flows.
