Each of the mentioned ECUs (Mopar & aftermarket) have a different timing latency... To find the right 1 takes some trial and error for setting initial timing and related distributor advance curve depending upon engine vacuum, carburetor, compression ratio, gears.. It is not just a plug & play, unfortunately today many mechanics or techs lack the experience and/or patience...
