I like King main bearings but not so on the rods. The tang for locating the bearing in the rod was off on two sets and it would not center the bearing. It was actually sticking past the side of the rod on several. I had to remove part of the tab to center the bearing. Like cab says, check every bearing clearance. I like a dial bore guage best. It is cheap insurance. I also like to size my rods AFTER I get the crank turned. That way you can have the rod clearance set to each journal perfectly. A good shop will do that for you.
