Nice, It's a ton of work.... I'm glad you painted it to the og colors, I'm a fan of that and think they look killer in drag form that way. I assume you will be putting the factory birds and emblems on?
Yes, it is getting the factory emblems, and birds reinstalled. Plan is to get the car all together, and run it, then after some time, wet sand the car, have the lettering, and pin striping applied, like it was in 1979, and reclear the car.
