I'm sure it's been done. What is the difficulty level on going from factory slant six to small block (probably LA 360) on '79 or '80 Power Wagon? On cars you're normally looking at K-frame swap, but on a W150, in order to do it right?

If it were to be on a 4 speed, would gear box bolt up with minor changes, e.g. a bell housing maybe?

I don't mind some available parts purchases, I just don't want heavy welding/modifications.
